Meet Margaret and her selection of spectacles. I created my first ever animated gif today, well without the assistance of gickr. It's so much easier than I expected and if you want to give it a go, I followed these instructions. Would love to see anything you create! I'm currently looking for some new frames. I can only leave the house in contacts as mine are taped up either side after an unfortunate accident. I've started working on a series of illustrations featuring some of my favourite hairstyles. First up, the side plait. It's Incomplete so why I'm sharing it with you now I'm not entirely sure. Speaking of plaits and braids, I'm really liking this Leonard St oversized sweater. The braid detail reminds me of a scaled down version of Sandra Buckland's sculptured knits. source: personal illustration

I started making plans for a grey skirt for fall today. I haven't quite decided on all the components yet, but i've cut it out in a grey wool-mix fabric. Will share the results once it's ready! image credit: my own photographs

I loved this little ropey wonder ever since I saw it on the Alena Akhmadullina S/S 2009 catwalk. So simple, yet complex, it would go perfectly a simple jersey dress, or cinch in a voluminous blouse. It's most definitely on my list of things to make. image source: my own illustrations
